Routine blood testing is a standard part of your routine and preventative healthcare. Routine blood work is typically ordered by your primary doctor after your Annual Physical Exam. This type of testing helps screen for hereditary health concerns and to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The most common routine blood tests that are ordered are usually a Lipid Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Hemoglobin (A1C), Urinalysis (UA) and on occasions Vitamin D. Each one of these tests run an expansive assessment of your body's different functions and to catch early warning signs of disease. These tests are all dependent on your age, sex and/or past medical history and family risk factors.
We understand that having your blood drawn can be stressful and places you in an anxiety inducing environment. However, we are equipped and trained to help any and all individuals. We pride ourselves in having expansive training from pediatric to geriatric blood collection. We help individuals who have severe needle phobia, have a history of fainting during blood collection and even individuals of all ages living with any form of disability.
We strive to ensure a less stressful blood draw experience!
Your doctor or healthcare professional who ordered the tests should receive your lab results within 24-48 hours from the time of collection sent directly from the testing Laboratory. Although some special tests may take longer to analyze, and are usually done within one week. We will inform you of the standard turn around time in each visit with us and keep you updated.
